Susie’s Story

My name is Susie (she/her) and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I came to Clinical Social Work after meeting a Hospice Social Worker while my beloved grandmother was dying.

I come from a family of service. My father is a retired fire fighter and my mother retired from nursing after a life altering diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

I am a caregiver by nature, and I come into therapy with curiosity and empathy.

My special interests are in peoples living with ALS, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, cancer, and other life-limiting illnesses.
